FAQ’S

I WANT TO PLACE MY ORDER EARLY, BUT DON’T WANT IT DELIVERED UNTIL LATER?

No Problem! When an order is placed, please click the Hold Until Later box upon check out to schedule the delivery at a later date. 

You will receive both your order & shipping confirmation earlier than we actually ship your gift. That's because our system generates a label when your order is prepped. You will not see movement on that tracking number until closer to the date.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

There is nothing quite like receiving a surprise gift in the mail. Here at Thursday and Daughters, shipping is a huge part of what we do, and we are committed to offering the best price we can to ensure your specially curated gift arrives to its recipient in a safe and timely manner. 

FREE STANDARD SHIPPING ON BOXES OVER USD 75!

Free standard shipping applies to domestic orders over USD 75 per shipping address. That means if you're placing a multiple address order, free shipping only applies on a per address basis.

Our free shipping code does not apply to international orders and cannot be combined (stacked) with any other offers. 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes! We deliver worldwide.

MY BOX IS A GIFT. I DON'T WANT TO INCLUDE A RECEIPT.

We don’t include receipts or packing slips inside any of our boxes, knowing that they are almost always a gift. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO SHIP? 

Orders take 1-3 business days to arrive via standard shipping, depending on where it's going. 

If you select one of our expedited shipping options, we will fulfill orders placed before 12 pm PST the same business day, otherwise they will be fulfilled the next business day.  

If you need to upgrade to rush shipping for last-minute thrills, we offer expedited shipping. Rates will vary based on the shipping destination; you will be able to view them at checkout.  

SCHEDULED DELIVERY

MY ORDER IS BEING SHIPPED AS A GIFT; CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC DELIVERY DATE?

Yes! You can use our scheduled delivery feature and we’ll ship your gift to ensure it arrives at its destination right on time.

Our studio ships Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm PST and is closed Saturday and Sunday.

In the event of public holidays, bad weather, natural disasters, and other uncontrollable events that may affect shipping services, your shipment may be delayed.

HOW DOES INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING WORK?

As long as you are shipping to one of the countries listed, your box will be shipped via Express International Shipping. 

We ship with all duties + taxes prepaid to avoid any issues at customs, so the recipient just gets to enjoy their beautiful box! 

Note that we are only able to ship to ONE international address per order, so please place separate orders for each individual address.

CAN I SEND GIFTS TO RECIPIENTS IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS?

Of course! Please use our multiple shipping address checkout to send gifts to different addresses. For large orders shipping to multiple locations, please contact a gift concierge if you need assistance at concierge@thursdayanddaughters.com.

I DON'T NEED IT DELIVERED ON A SPECIFIC DAY, JUST BY A SPECIFIC DAY. WHAT THEN? 

If that's the case, let us know in the notes what the occasion is (birthday, anniversary, etc.) and we'll add our custom-designed "DON'T OPEN UNTIL ____" sticker to the front of their package. 

SHOULD I ENTER MY OWN EMAIL ADDRESS AS THE DELIVERY ALERT EMAIL ADDRESS?

No, not unless you’re receiving the delivery directly. The gift buyer automatically receives shipment and tracking information, so adding your email address here only doubles the amount of email you receive. 

I JUST RECEIVED A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION BUT I REQUESTED MY BOX BE HELD FOR A LATER DATE. HELP! 

Our system automatically sends out shipping confirmations with tracking numbers when your order is prepped. Do not be alarmed, we're still holding it for the delivery date requested. 

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

Yes! When your gift is out for shipment, we’ll send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link.

HELP! I ACCIDENTLY PROVIDED AN INCORRECT ADDRESS – CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY ORDER?

MY BOX SAYS IT WAS DELIVERED, BUT MY RECIPIENT NEVER GOT IT. 

We require our carriers take signatures upon delivery to ensure it is placed in safe hands unless specifically requested. If you request the carriers leave the package at your door it will be under your discretion and outside our control. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for a missing product in this case. 

If a box is delivered according to your tracking but the recipient didn't get it, our customer care team will do everything in our power to locate it by calling the carrier and even the intended delivery building to give you all the information you need. Beyond that, unfortunately this is a rare situation that's out of our control, and could be attributable to any number of things, including the package being stolen or lost. We recommend filing a carrier claim, and we'd be happy to do the same on our end!  

IT SAYS THE DELIVERY OF MY BOX WAS UNSUCCESSFUL, NOW WHAT?

The carriers will attempt 3 deliveries before returning the package. If the delivery was unsuccessful due to an incorrect number or address, or if the recipient is unreachable, we’ll be happy to send a replacement but we will charge USD 12 shipping fee for domestic deliveries. 

DO YOU OFFER A PICK-UP OPTION FOR US RESIDENTS?

In case of extenuating circumstances and/or or rush deliveries, a pick-up option could be arranged from our gifting studio by appointment only. Contact us at help@thursdayanddaughters.com to schedule an appointment. 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY?

All sales are final, we don't accept returns or exchanges (but trust us, they'll love it)!

I RECEIVED MY PACKAGE BUT AN ITEM WAS DAMAGED. CAN IT BE REPLACED?

We carefully pack and ship your gifts to make sure that they arrive in perfect condition. We're certain that your recipients will love their gift, but if something goes wrong in transit or your experience is anything less than stellar from start to finish, we're here to make it right for you and them. Contact us at help@thursdayanddaughters.com or +1 (424) 256-6261within 24 hours of receiving the gift so we can work with you to fix any issues. 

Please keep in mind the season when ordering custom gifts with chocolate. As the warmer weather comes near, our shop gifts will not be containing anything that may melt! 

ACCOUNT

Your Thursday and Daughters account helps you keep track of gifts you’ve sent, gifts you’re currently building, and products you’ve “favorited” so you can return to them later. You can also see your order history and add contacts to your address book, making your future checkouts even easier.  

ORDERS

DO THE BOXES SHIP AS SHOWN?

Yes. Each set of products comes in a beautiful white box, held by our custom belly bands. Our boxes are meant to be kept; they're the perfect place for keepsakes, storage and everything in between. Plus, each box will ship inside a shipper box, so it stays nice and pretty. You can preview our unboxing experience here.

WHAT’S INSIDE EACH BOX?

Because we take great care in curating each box, and you build your boxes to perfection, we ship exactly what you see. On the rare occasion that we are out of stock on a particular item, one of our gifting specialists will personally contact you with options of equal or greater value (and aesthetic). We will make every effort to contact you to approve the substitution ahead of time, but if we don’t hear from you, we will make an appropriate item swap in the interest of getting your gift out the door in a timely manner. 

CAN YOU INCLUDE A PERSONALZIED NOTE IN MY ORDER?

Each box includes a Gift To/ From note. If you like, you could add a hand-written custom-designed note. Simply provide us with your message, and we'll handle the rest. 

ARE MY GIFT MESSAGES CONFIDENTIAL?

In order to fulfill your order, order-processing and fulfillment representatives may view your written message as they write and pack your gift. Occasionally our order processing representatives may notice a typo in your gift message and contact you to see if you’d like us to correct it; however, we do not guarantee that we will always find or have the ability to correct such errors.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE A BOX? 

Absolutely. Whether it's a bachelorette party or a corporate affair, try our custom builder to find the right mix of products for your special occasion. For large inquiries, please email concierge@thursdayanddaughters.com.

DO THE BOXES EVER CHANGE?

Yes! We’re constantly innovating and updating our product portfolio to refresh existing boxes, and we're always coming up with new ideas.  

DISCOUNT CODES

We occasionally offer discount codes to our customers for special promotions and random acts of gifting.

Please note that Thursday and Daughters discount codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.

Thursday and Daughters reserves the right to cancel or amend special promotions at any time.

I HAVE MULTIPLE DISCOUNT CODES, WHY AREN'T THEY WORKING?

Unfortunately, you'll have to pick one. None of our codes or discounts are stackable, including Free Shipping over USD 75.

CUSTOM ORDERS 

WHAT ARE THE PACKAGING OPTIONS FOR CUSTOM GIFTS?

We are happy to work with you on customizing a gift order. Our packaging includes large and small boxes with a drop-down lid featuring a belly band with our logo. HOW MUCH NOTICE IS NEEDED FOR CUSTOM ORDERS?

Each project is curated and assembled to your needs. Ideally, we would need at least 6 weeks to complete the process (design, sourcing, assembly and shipping). The time of year will depend if this process will take longer or shorter. We will always be very communicative throughout the process to manage all expectations.
